The View

And I'm not talking about that horrible show where 4 or 5 women screech at/over each other on Amercian television (sorry, that show drives me nuts). No, this is the LOVELY view from my back window. And you people in Japan think all the power lines there are eyesores....at least they aren't a jumbled mess like the ones here. :-)

I guess the concept of keeping up with the Joneses isn't prevalent in Beirut *cough tv antennae and lone satellite dish cough*

Well, there is a "involuntary sharing system" prevalent here. People just hook-in wherever they can (as you can see).

HI! Thank you for stopping by my blog! What an awesome idea you had- I would have never thought of that! What an interesting story you must have-now living in Beirut ?! I am definitely going to see what bases are around our area (if any) we are moving to Fukuoka prefecture. This is a permanent move for us. I am going to place a link to your blog on my blog site. Thanks again- I humbly appreciate your support.

Wow -- that could be downtown Girne, or even a few neighborhoods in Nicosia! It also reminds me a bit of Shinagawa -- I'm not sure why.

Except for all the garbage, I'm sure. Wait, I didn't post the picture with all the garbage (and cats).

But the mass of jumbled up power lines makes it look so exotic compared to Japan!!
