I too donned the skis (after 20 years!) and enjoyed the day out with my family even though thoughts of Japan were never far from my mind.

THAT'S a bunny hill!?!? I've only skied once. And I spent longer trying to get up once I'd fallen than I did actually skiing. The hills are gorgeous here. I should give it a go again.
