Growing up in the Philippines, Easter was strictly a religious holiday. I remember when my college housemates and I were discussing Easter in the States, they were explaining how American children believed in the Easter bunny in the same way as they believed in Santa Claus. I also asked if the Easter bunny was an actual rabbit (the girl thought so) or a man in a bunny suit (the guy).

I cannot get over how grown-up they both look! Love the letters and their continued belief in the Easter Bunny x

We also went to mass. :-)

I think it's a real bunny not a guy in a bunny suit!

    Thx Maggie!

So cute! Reminds me of my brother and I taking the obligatory Easter photo when we were kids. I never really appreciated the photos then, and even sometimes disliked them, but I love them now. -Lola http://dreaminginafishbowl.blogspot.com/

Kind of really late, but I forgot to add the punch of the story. The male friend who believed that the Easter bunny was an anthropomorphic bunny (aka man in bunny suit) continued believing in the Easter Bunny way after he stopped believing in Santa Claus, well into his teens.

    :D
