Over the Top

I was visiting a friend the other day for lunch and she told me to stop on the 9th floor of her building for a peek at her neighbor's entranceway. Luckily I had my camera because this is what I saw:

The walls are covered in silver glitter. I'll try to get more pictures next time I go over there as that is only a very small taste of the decor in that entranceway.

Last weekend we went out to a place called The Music Hall. It's a place like no other. Live acts interspersed with dj club-like music whilst you drink and dance your heart out (on/around your table). The acts were varied and included cover bands based on Tom Jones, Beyonce, Heart, and Latin groove with plenty of Arabic (traditional and pop) thrown in. My personal favourtie was the Boney M cover band:
