High Kicks
Tigerboy loves his Taekwondo. He's been going since February. Yesterday after class he was showing me a new kick he learned.
Tigerboy: "It's very important that you tilt your head back mummy, otherwise you might kick yourself in the face."
Me: "Of course!" (seriously? How could you kick yourself in the face, wouldn't it be a natural instinct to tilt your head back and just exactly what would you be trying to kick by aiming so high, a bird?).
Apparently it IS possible:
The tooth was already loose so it wasn't really painful. Just lots of blood. Now Tigerboy walks around saying, "I can't believe I kicked my own tooth out!"
Me either.

That is the best "losing tooth" story ever. I can see him retelling it to his children, "You think that hurts, let me tell you about the time I kicked my own tooth out."

Thanks Illahee! It's crazy how fast the time goes. I wish I could put it in slow motion for awhile.
GJ, He did and it WAS hilarious. It wouldn't have been so funny if the tooth hadn't been loose already though.

WOW -- I never knew you could kick yourself in the face either! Your son is made of stern stuff: I wouldn't be smiling like that if I'd kicked my own tooth out, loose or not.
