Personality
It`s fun to do these kinds of personality questionaires and see what "type" you are. Seven years ago, when I was studying psychology at university, I took the Myers-Briggs (which is what the above test is based on) and had the same result:
"ESFJs are social butterflies that value relationships, supporting and nurturing others. Never one to shy away from social events, they are often the host. They are great encouragers of teamwork. ESFJs are responsible, dutiful, observe traditions and follow rules. ESFJs have a deep concern for others and often end up as caretakers. They are sensitive to criticism and have a need to be appreciated for the good they do for others. ESFJs are understanding, generous, have a quick wit and a knack for composition and beautification."
Those of you who know me, what do you think? Is the assesment correct?

Well, I've known you for years upon years, via the group we both belonged to. Although I have yet the pleasure of meeting you and the kids in person yet. But your emails are just fantastic! Ha ha ha! We surely would have a hoot if we ever meet irl. And yes, Tigermama, I think that pretty much nails you to a T. You are an outgoing little social butterfly and a caretaker too. Yup, that sound exactly like you, to me. He he he.You've got many fine qualities.
Fwiw, my first major in uni was a psychology major. Until I switched it, ultimately getting my degree in early childhood education. I took the test you mentioned, that was cool. You made me smile when you said you were a psych major. I thought, yet another wonderful thing we have in common. : )
Pssst Tigermama, I got my new keitei. I'll post about it later today sometime. It doesn't have nearly as many of the features yours has, but mine has TV too, ha ha ha. Anyway, I'll just show ya, later. : )
PS, I wanted to say...I have known you so long. I have known you since your Tigerkids were Tiger babies! That's how long! Ha ha ha, now that really is long. I originally joined that group in 2002. So maybe you didn't even have kids then. B was not even 1 year old back then. I truly have watched your kids grow throughout the years, as you have watched mine. Anyway...I am babbling again. Bonks self. Thanks for always being such a good friend. : ) And yes that test, nailed you to a T! ha ha! : )

I dont think that any test can quantify the qualities that you possess. While a test can pinpoint certain attributes in black and white, its not possible to put a number on a personality. The results of the test you mention dont even come close to representing what a really warm and fabulous person you are. Or the fact that you are generous and caring and outgoing.......
while I agree with the results of the test, they fall far short of revealing the actual you.
oh, and I cant wait for the future and the chance to kick your butt in a game of cribbage...
rock on!!!!!

Gina, I think our older kids must be the same age because my dd was born in December, 2001. I joined that group when my son was a few months old (fall, 2003) so almost the same time, ne. If I remember correctly, you posted a gorgeous photo of you and your husband and B swimming in Hawaii. Anyway, I`m so glad we "met"!
Jan, what a beautiful comment! Thank you! I`m still waiting for you to come see me in Okinawa. hint hint.

That's cool Tigermama. I love those video montages.
Our kids are all the same age, yours mine and Gina's. My older son was born in November 2001.
I joined "the group" when he was about 14 months in early 2003. I remember the picture of Gina in Hawaii too!
One day we'll have to chat on the phone. I have a Softbank phone too so doesn't that make it free? to call?
