Valentine`s Day Cooking Class
Last week we attended our local grocery store`s Valentine`s Day cooking class. It took 2 hours to make a no-bake chocolate desert because of the extreme unorganization and constant chatter of the volunteers. But, since they were volunteers and really very sweet, we persevered to the end! Here`s the "head of operations" talking about raisins:
Here are three of the chefs:
Waiting:
Still waiting:
Finally "cooking":
Clean up:
I didn`t get a picture of the final product but that`s because it didn`t look very good. In fact, the "director of operations" used our desert to demonstrate how the finished product should NOT look. Ah well, it tasted good....even with raisins!

I think the Tiger kids were the cutest kids in the whole place! Okay, maybe I am biased, but that's okay! : )
Despite the unorganization of the class, I think the kids must have had a really *really* fantastic time. And heck, even if it didn't look good, it must have tasted amazing! : )

I love Tigergirl and Tigerboy's "waiting" faces.

Cute kids!
My girls used to love 'cooking' in their hoiku-en, years ago. The teachers used to all look like they needed a stiff drink afterwards, but the kids all had fun.
