Happy New Year

We had a Japanese New Year`s party here in Beirut that involved pounding of the rice to make mochi.

We had fun but the best part was that the kids got to eat the mochi, something they have missed since we moved here.

Happy 2009!

How cool that you have Japanese aspect in your lives even living in Beirut.

And you should start a 'send the tigerkids mochi' fund. You'd be inundated by all of us who are sick of the stuff by now!

Happy New Year and hey, I didn't even get to pound mochi this year. Looks like the kids had a blast.

Thanks everyone! I personally don`t see what`s so great about mochi, it`s kind of bland, no?! Tigergirl ate a whole plateful!
